ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME
All hail the brick-phone
Okay, let’s just set aside the fact that this is, without a doubt, one of the cutest pictures in existence, and talk about something else for a second.
Emma is not wearing Graham’s shoelace or Neal’s necklace.
Sure, you can easily argue that she’s going to a nice, fancy dinner and doesn’t want to be walking around with a shoelace on her wrist or a necklace that doesn’t match her dress. But let’s be real, has that ever stopped Emma? That necklace and that shoelace have pretty much been constants for Emma since they were introduced, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they disappear when she goes on her first date with Killian.
Emma’s obviously carrying around baggage from past relationships. As she stated last episode, everyone she’s ever been in a relationship with is dead, and that’s clearly stayed with her. But I think the fact that she’s not wearing the keepsakes that remind her of her past relationships, even if it’s only for one night, says a lot about how she’s choosing to let her walls down and open up to Killian without those relationships weighing her down as much.
Do you wanna know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can’t savor all the little emotions. You see, in their last moments, people show you who the really are. So in a way I knew your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?
"I gave my three year old daughter some worthless coins, and jokingly told her that she was rich. She went and hid the coins away, and I forgot all about them. Around the same time, my oldest daughter got a bunch of money from her aunts and uncles for her birthday. A few months later, we needed money for food, and I asked my oldest daughter if we could use some of her birthday money. She refused. I almost started crying, because I thought then that I had completely failed as a parent. But suddenly, my youngest daughter appeared, and gave me back the handful of coins that I had given her."
